Surgery 3.0

Aidan is all ready for surgery. He will be going down to the OR at 8:20AM CST or 9:20AM Eastern Standard Time. We probably will not get any news until well after his surgery starts.
Today Aidan will be getting an Anastomosis or basically his distal and proximal esophagus will be connected. He will not be able to eat right afterwards but he will eventually Wakeup! We are all praying for Aidan and that the surgery goes well. Another esophageal atresia baby went in for surgery last week and after putting the distal and proximal esophagus together there was just not esophagus yet and they had to close her up. Since Aidan has had all this extra time to grow we shouldnt run into any problems.
